Date : Sunday, March 7, 2010 Time : 4:11 PM Hi everyone. Do take a look at my previous tag replies so that you don't ask the same questions. I will only answer new queries...
Attire for next week Monday: PE attire Tuesday: PE attire "creature: Is it ok if my Hiking back is 30 L?" If it can contain everything you need, then its ok. If not, I would suggest a larger bag. "okay: err, we must bring our own plates and mugs and forks+spoons ?!?! No provided utensils ? O_OO" Yes, bring your own cos you will need it at the summit stay. Do bring metal fork and spoon and a non-breakable (and non-disposable) plate. "ms: what is the name of the hill we will be climbing..?" Gunung Pelepah (Gunung is Mountain in Malay) "Passerby.: We bring the $50 go camp for wad? Got shopping uh? o.o" Bring 50 ringgit (Malaysian currency) as you will get to explore Kota Tinggi and do some shopping on your own. "Passerby.: Then hor , when we go hiking , we bring all our bags along or ? o.o" That is why you are required to bring 2 bags, the smaller one will be used for the hike while the larger bag will be used to keep the rest of your belongings. Its good to see the blog gaining momentum and more people are checking on it for more information. Here's the latest round of tag replies... "heyhey: Can i bring long pants , which is not a track pant" Any long pants that is loose fitting (no army camouflage pants please) is allowed. "hoho: where do we bath when we r in the camp? is there clean toillets ? .." There are clean and well maintained toilets in the camp. Do remember that Kota Tinggi is a tourist spot and therefore they do need to upkeep the facilities. "J: how do we bath if we are in the summit of the hill ?" Dry bath: Powder bath. Basically it by using a lot of talcum powder to freshen up. Wet bath: There is a small stream with flowing water near the campsite. Your instructors will let you know.. "-: are we allowed to bring sleeping bag?" Yes, do bring it if you have one. Its for your own comfort :) "J: socks will be school socks or ankle socks ?" You can mix your socks if you don't have enough school socks. Its important to keep your feet dry and clean. Think about sharing the tent with friends with smelly feet...eeewwww... "atika: at the packing list , it stated tht altogether , we need to bring 3 shoes . correct ? how come 3 ?" The packing list shows only 2 pairs of shoes. One is for backup in case one pair gets wet. Its is very unhygienic to wear wet shoes. You can also develop foot rot..not a nice souvenir to bring home.. "C: Um, awhen can we get the programmes , like what activities on which day." You will get the camp booklet on Tuesday. Everyone will go through the same activities, so it doesn't really matter which activity is on which day does it? ",comma-: Is it too late to say I wanted to go to the camp ? 'cause previously I submitted my form saying that I am not going." I hope everyone understands the complex nature of planning a large activity like this and last minute additions are not helpful. Do bring your stuff and passport on Monday and we'll decide from there. "lol: thanks...i hope we can sleep by odd and even numbers. ;D" Haha. How you sleep will most likely be up to you, aslong as you are with your own classmates and not mixing with the other sex... "omg: OMG ! I don't have two bags...i only have one. CAN I BRING A LAGGUAGE ?" You would need another bag to bring up for the Pelepah hike and overnight stay. Do try to get a smaller bag for this activity.. "((:: are we supposed to wear uniform or pe on monday ?" Do come in PE attire...it will be more comfortable for the activities that we will be doing.. That's all for now folks! Labels: tag replies 4

Depending on the traffic and how fast we can pack up at Kota Tinggi, we should be dismissed from Greendale at 4-5pm. So to a certain extent its up to everyone to ensure things get done fast. 3A1: Can we only bring 1 bag for camping? Not advisable. You would need a larger bag to contain all your stuff for 4 days and a smaller bag for the overnight stay at the summit. Candy tm: so this means that I can don't bring swimwear? Can but not advisable. Candy tm: & the t-shirts is PE T-shirt or is not? last qn:what do we wear on 16/3/10 to go there? Report on Tuesday in your PE attire but you can bring other non-offensive or obscene t-shirts to last you through the camp. Jerry: Are we suppose to wear track pants? Yes because it will prevent abrasions during the hike and challenge ropes activities. It will also be very useful for the paintball activity. In summary, if you don't wear track pants, you can get injuries easily. C: Can we just bring 1 sport shoe , and bring sandals for trekking ? You will use only use sandals/ slippers when going to the toilet and showering at night. Wearing covered footwear shoes) will protect your feet and provide better cushioning and stability and prevent sprains. .: can you like tell us each bag need put what so we know what to pack cause we need to bring two bags . Your smaller bag which you will use for the overnight stay at the summit should have your sleeping attire and another set of clothes for the next day. I won't advise on the undergarments cos its up to your own preference but clean ones would be nice ;) Passerby.: Erm... Then we got lessons on next monday ? cause we still need to bring camp things and books if got lesson meh? Vey heavy leh >< There will not be any lessons on Monday. It will be used solely for the camp. J: can you give us a list of activities that we are suppose to play on certain day? we can then pack our clothes better. The activities that you will be having are as I mentioned during the briefing. So pack according to the packing list and you won't go wrong. Benedict: What if i didn't pass up the passport?Isit ok if i pass it tomorrow, 3E4 Make sure you give your passport to us as soon as you can. rdm ppl: isit a must/compulsory to play all activities ? .. Would you want to be able to share the good times with your friends once the camp is over or can you only sit and listen inawe, wishing that you had participated in every activity?? HELLOO: Can I not bring long pants, I dont have any long pants at all. Can I bring all pe shorts or FBT? You can bring PE shorts or any other shorts IN ADDITION to long pants.
